Putney Road Community Street Action Day

On Wednesday 16th March pupil’s from St Clare’s Catholic Primary School helped with the Putney Road and Putney Avenue Street Action day.

Pupils helped to weed the planters in Putney Avenue with assistance from Deborah Parsons, Environmental Warden. West Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire Service, Midland Heart and Birmingham City Council were door knocking and speaking with residents about community safety and environmental issues. Lyndon Close Community Action Day

Residents of Lyndon Close are invited to get involved in the Lyndon Close Action day on Tuesday 7th September from 4.30 p.m. – 6.30 p.m. Activities for the day:

  •  Free Community Safety Advice  from West Midlands Police & West Midlands Fire Service
  • A chance to have your say about your local neighbourhood and talk to your Neighbourhood Manager, Fleet & Waste Management and other services
  • A chance to get involved in a COMMUNITY LITTER PICK - meet putside BIN Area at Westminster Court at 5pm
  • Become a STREET CHAMPION to help improve your local environment.
