At long last you will notice if you are travelling down the Birchfield Road that the demolition of Birchfield Tower has commenced.
Demolition due to be completed by 31st January 2011.

Stop Press: Birchfield Tower Is Coming Down
Posted on 15th December 2010 by Yvonne WagerAt the Birchfield Estate Resident Regeneration Group (BERRG) meeting held on Tuesday 14th December 2010 at Livingstone House it was announced by the Housing Department that demolition of Birchfield Tower would commence on Monday 10th January 2011.
I know that many residents living near by will be breathing a sigh of relief! I’ll keep you informed of developments as they occur.
