CMAT recording studio is located at 16 Grosvenor Road B20 3NP and is an established Social Enterprise to create opportunities for and with its local community with a view to increasing the richness and quality of the lives of local people.
Funded through Be Birmingham’s Successful Neighbourhoods fund CMAT is launching its ”Joint Forces” programme to devlop a model of ’community sharing experiences’. CMAT is looking for six families from the Birchfield area who have different ethnic and cultural backgrounds (e.g. Indian, Pakistani, White British, Black British, Chinese, Vietnamese, Caribbean, Polish, Kurdish etc). The main point of this project is to actively engage different communities together to help establish a Cultural Ambassadors Group for the local community.
Over twelve months the families will take part in:
- Lots of fun activities!
- Have discussions about Art & Culture
- Sample food and music from other cultures
- Share stories or experiences about Birmingham or ‘back home’
If you live in the Birchfield area and your family is interested in taking part then please contact Bob Ramdhanie on 0121 331 4746 or email b.ramdhanie@cmatltd.co.uk
